16gen
16gen is an independent fragrance brand built around how scent holds a moment. I shaped its first collection across brand identity, art direction, product design, packaging, and web.
Visit 16genThe Brief
Scent is intimate and invisible. How could we give a new fragrance brand a distinct visual and physical presence, one that makes scent feel tangible, memorable, and experiential?
A graphic system that treats scent as form, paired with a sculptural scent holder and a first collection of seven fragrances. Each touchpoint extends the same idea: a fragrance can make memory tangible.
Making scent tangible through a visual language
I built a visual language that connects colour to the different moods of each scent. Custom typography and geometric forms gave an invisible experience a graphic, repeatable presence, while the sculptural incense holder turned that language into a physical ritual.

Packaging the collection with restraint
The packaging was kept deliberately minimal, allowing colour, type, and scent information to lead. This created a quiet, consistent system across the seven fragrances and the holder.

Extending the identity into a digital storefront
I extended the system into a webshop that makes the collection easy to explore and buy. Motion-led marketing assets brought the identity to life, creating a recognisable presence across launch touchpoints.
